This is a special action command available to Donor and higher.
Like the other action or movement commands, donors frequently use AutoHotkeys or other methods to bind it to a mouse button or keyboard key for easy usage.
Usage
Syntax
- /firework - lists all default and purchased options.
- /firework Option - Firework launched with mixed specific choice
- /firework Option1,Option2,Option3 - Three different fireworks launched at the same time
- /firework Option1&Option2&Option3 - Firework launched with multiple specific options combined, options later in the list override settings of earlier options
- Example: /firework sunset&large,newyear&eclipse creates a large sunset firework (yellow fading to starry) and small eclipse (yellow fading to black) with the trail effect from the newyear option.
- Or /firework spooky&default for a green creeper face.

Note: options other than the default are separate purchases from Donor rank.
Limitations
- This command does not damage mobs or players like a normal firework star would (See change in history below).
- 2 minute cooldown between each command
- Syntax Limitations:
- Mix Option - Maximum of 3 options when using the comma to mix them
- Combine Option - Maximum of 3 options combined
History
- April 14th, 2019 - The /firework command was added for the new Donor role, which would create a small green firework explosion.
- October 13th, 2019 - Firework colours changed to gold fading to dark red for Halloween.
- December 4th, 2019 - Firework colours changed to dark green fading to dark red for Christmas.
- July 4th, 2020 - USA and Canada firework options were added for July 4th, which any Donors could use until July 8th.
- /firework mod and /firework admin options also available for staff, which created aqua fading to white or red fading to black firework explosions.
- August 4th, 2020 - /firework cooldown reduced from 4 to 2 minutes for MinecraftOnline birthday.
- MCO, Cake, Blue, and Red firework options added for MinecraftOnline birthday and capture the flag game.
- October 11th, 2020 - Spooky firework option added which creates a creeper face shape gold fading to black firework explosion.
- December 8th, 2020 - Holiday, Winter, and Summer firework options added for Christmas and Holiday Building Competition December 2020.
- December 30th, 2020 - The /firework large option was added for Donor II, which would create a large green firework explosion.
- New Year firework option added.
- February 9th, 2021 - Lunar New Year firework option added.
- March 2021 - End and Emerald firework options added for the Endsurrection.
- December 30, 2021 - Firework command reworked, sunrise, sunset, night, day, twilight, eclipse firework options added.
- June 6th, 2022 - Removed the ability of the command's result to damage entities both in and outside of protected areas.
- Damage from fireworks did not occur at all in 1.7.10, it only became a problem after the server updated to 1.12.2 on 1st of April 2021.
- Pride firework options added.
