What is the Endsurrection?

The Endsurrection was an end-themed event that occurred in the month of March, 2021. The end began to leak out into the overworld and slowly transform spawn into the end. It also became an RP event as some players became "endfected" and spread it through many means. On March 6th,  EnderLordFlippeh made his appearance and announced his malicious plans to destroy Freedonia. In order to stop him, players had to search for Ender Lord Flippeh's strongholds and deactivate them by flipping a lever. The "endfected" players tried to stop these heroic players from doing this.

Timeline

February 20th, 2021

•  Spektra02 noticed that the (usually yellow) glass on the ground suddenly turned purple. This was quite a surprise, but it was generally ignored.
•  Akuroi notices the appearance of a small endstone cluster in the spawn pool. How it got there is still under investigation. Its presence tainted the very water where all new players are born, and this started the Endfection of Freedonia.

February 25th, 2021

• User  Vecxin shows up in Spawn seemingly infected with a mysterious purple aura about him. He then infects  Mechman007,  1Catnip and  AppleSilly with what was later dubbed the "Endfection". From there, the Endfection would spread from player to player, sometimes altering their physical appearance.

March 6th, 2021

•  EnderLordFlippeh makes his appearance.
• User  LordOfTheShadows finds the 1st stronghold and deactivates it.

March 8th, 2021

• User  George_Mann deactivates the 2nd stronghold in New Eden.

March 11th, 2021

• User  Darkerfly deactivates the 3rd stronghold at x:-8951 z:-9880.

March 13th, 2021

• User  George_Mann deactivates the 4th stronghold at x:9416 z:-9473 without Ender Lord Flippeh noticing, and returns minutes later with  Erttum.
• User  LordOfTheShadows obtains a 2nd elytra voucher that comes from unknown origins.

March 14th, 2021

• User  HY_Turkic is the first person to find the chest containing an Elytra Voucher and other treasures in warp Forrrest.

March 15th, 2021

• User  bawest accidentally stumbles upon admin  The_Jackal_249 constructing the next stronghold... oopsie! This stronghold has been given the name "The Jackaloopsie Stronghold" ("JO Stronghold" for short) due to this accident.

March 16th, 2021

• User  HY_Turkic deactivates the 5th stronghold (known as the JO Stronghold). He does a Wheel of Names game, which ends up in  Drdrs recieving the voucher.
• User  r9q deactivates the 6th stronghold. This may be the fastest stronghold yet, but probably not faster than the 1st one. This marks the second stronghold found and deactivated on this day! x:-13442 x:-512

March 20th, 2021

• User  Filip0706 deactivates the 7th stronghold. Ender Lord Flippeh is enraged by this.

March 21st, 2021

• User  ScarClaw72 deactivates the 8th stronghold in Batugus Labs head hall by finding a hidden lever next to the head of  EnderLordFlippeh.

March 25th, 2021

• User  xDanThePilot02 receives an Elytra Voucher by helping the Admin Team via reporting a bug.

March 25th, 2021

• User  Filip0706 deactivates the 9th stronghold east of Spring City. (x:-12343 z:989)

March 27th, 2021

• User  Drdrs deactivates the 10th stronghold east of the warp Mycelia.

March 28th, 2021

• User  LordOfTheShadows leads multiple players to the beginning of the latest stronghold. These players then had to navigate through a maze and do parkour. In the end, user  Hornacious received the two vouchers.

March 30th, 2021

• Users  LordOfTheShadows,  _Daata,  Hornacious, and  helpimdeadinside were chosen to enter the stronghold. They are shortly greeted with an unexpected 4v4 battle royal situation for voucher.
•  helpimdeadinside sadly has to log off for the night, leaving 3 players left.
•  OnionOnionOnion takes  helpimdeadinside's place
•  _Daata slays  Hornacious. Then,  LordOfTheShadows makes quick work of  OnionOnionOnion.
•  LordOfTheShadows then defeats  _Daata and obtains the voucher.
•  LordOfTheShadows decides to give  _Daata and  OnionOnionOnion a 50/50 chance at getting the voucher from a chest.
•  OnionOnionOnion ends up getting the voucher.

March 31th, 2021

• Many ender dragons were spawned following with the strike of lightning from the sky as an attempt by EnderLordFlippeh to take over Freedonia, yet the brave players in Freedonia fought back to take back the night and their sacred land.
• For the final dragons,  EnderLordFlippeh began to recruit players to aid him in stopping the revolution against him. In retaliation,  TheDemetri created a team to counter the Ender lord’s team. (List of team members are below)
• Once the final dragon was slain, spawn briefly returned to normal and players rejoiced in hopes that the endsurrection had been stopped. EnderLordFlippeh quickly returned however, despite his constant failed attempts to quell the Revolution.
  • (Sidenote: The reason that the spawn chunks had been reverted to their original state before the Endsurrection event was because after the server suddenly crashed  AlphaAlex115 messed up reloading chunks... again xD)
• Once EnderLordFlippeh had resumed his attempt at defeating those who chose to defy him, he suddenly made the sun disappear, and midnight had come to Freedonia. Yet in that instant, as he gloated over them, the many rebels came together and did something which the Ender Lord had not taken into account. All of the different players who had joined together in their revolution said goodnight and the sun returned to its rightful place. Enraged, EnderLordFlippeh used his power to maintain an eternal night so that the players couldn't do it again.
• EnderLordFlippeh reveals that there was one final dragon (or boss) to slay, which was him. Shortly after this statement, a dragon named EnderLordFlippeh was spawned in with ghasts that were moving end crystals. Shortly after, the humanoid version of EnderLordFlippeh (player account) awoke and appeared to power himself up before stepping outside of spawn protections.
• As soon as this occurred, the user  EnderLordFlippeh began to make quick work of geared up players with easily two to three crits from their fist. On occasion he also used an enchanted sword named ‘Dies Irae’ to take down players as he made his way to 0,0.
• The dragon was slayed and the players rejoiced thinking that they had won.... until EnderLordFlippeh went into phase 2.
• Yet another and more powerful dragon was spawned in and had the assistance of the humanoid  EnderLordFlippeh and  Palindrome7. Together these two slayed multiple players fighting against the lord’s takeover, items flying everywhere like fireworks.
• This dragon was slain as well, causing EnderLordFlippeh to enter into phase 3. (An act of desperation perhaps)
• The Phase 3 dragon took longer to slay than the other two phases, as more ghasts (ender crystals) were present throughout the final phase.
• After a hard battle with the dragon and humanoid version of EnderLordFlippeh, the dragon was slain. This caused  EnderLordFlippeh to scream 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO' in frustration and defeat, knowing that his plans and attempts to take over Freedonia had failed. Shortly after,  EnderLordFlippeh and his strength wore down and made him vulnerable once more, causing him to flee from 0,0 as an attempt to save himself from the blades of the Freedonian players and the clutches of death. User  _Daata caught up to the ender lord and dealt the fatal blow, slaying  EnderLordFlippeh.
• Players are each given a Dragon Head and Dragon Eye item for defeating  EnderLordFlippeh.

April 1st, 2021

• Upon  EnderLordFlippeh's defeat, he takes Freedonia with him. Freedonia (1.7.10) is replaced by a 1.12.2 Temporary Server.

April 3rd, 2021

• Freedonia returns, but on version 1.12.2 (instead of 1.7.10), with a brand new end dimension including outer islands.
