After over 15 years of mega farms across MinecraftOnline churning out dangerous amounts of Co2, the world of Freedonia is on the verge of a climate catastrophe, as seen with the massive hole torn into the ozone above spawn city. The Freedonian Horticulturalist Society (FHS) was founded in 2008 to ensure that the server's climate would be preserved for generations of losers to come.
After archiving all digital media in human history in early 2026, the Freedonian Historical Society (FHS) was disbanded, with their members & property being absorbed into the FHS (Freedonian Horticulturalist Society).
On April 5th, 2026, the FHS (Freedonian Horticulturalist Society) was officially disbanded after the leadership came to realize that caring about the environment is actually really gay.
