The Kanal Town CTF Arena is a public arena that anybody can use anytime. It is primarily set up for Capture the Flag but also supports Team PVP events like team deathmatch and domination.

History
As of 2023 Capture the Flag has been a game hosted in Kanal Town. However the old setup at Kanal Town Stadium saw widespread cheating and spectator interference due to the open nature of the arena. Games were held from 2023-2025. However: during the 2026 New Eden Capture the Flag game GrumpyMosasaur noticed many of the same issues faced at New Eden were the same ways plaguing Kanal Town Stadium.
It was decided that a new stadium would be built in an empty spot north of Kanal Town Stadium. Construction stated on August 25 2026, however the first test game was held on September 6 2026. Two days later the stadium would be completed and a proper opening game was held on September 8 2026, which also marked the start of the 2026/2027 CTF season.
Functionality
The control room holds all the levers and buttons needed for using the arena. Instructions on how to host rounds of CTF are included inside the arena.

1) higher score achived
2) team (R/Y) runs out of gear (win by default)

CTF Seasons
The arena will try to host a CTF season at least once per year where 12 games are played, with the team that wins the most games winning the season and the players on said team in the final game winning a large prize.
