The Keep in its beginnings.png

The Keep of the Eternal Tree (also named Torreón del Árbol Eterno) is a Fortification designed primarily as a separate realm, but was integrated as a settlement of the Black Starwalkers on December 15, 2024.

The name of the Keep comes from the only fir tree in the area (located right at the edge of the southern wall) which symbolizes permanence in an ancient world, with the Keep definition coming from the first tower that was done on the Southwest. It's name was a suggestion from getplayerhead.sh?ZJTrayGamingYT&16.png ZJTrayGamingYT, which getplayerhead.sh?Ervoss&16.png Ervoss decided to use.

It's construction is still in development.

History

The construction that defined the course of the fortification was a 25-block-high tower that has not been completed to this day. The first two walls that have been completed were modified in height, width and shape at least twice since July 2024. As the first building made by getplayerhead.sh?Ervoss&16.png Ervoss, it was first decided as a kingdom with it's own rules, but after the integration, it became an integrated place under the rules of the Black Starwalkers.

The earliest record of the beginning of the Keep dates from July 10th, 2024, and it stayed as a short island connected with a chunk border, until it's expansion in order to become a quadrant. Small progress was done until December 15, 2024, when the settlement was integrated into the Black Starwalkers; work was done to construct a storage area in the underground, and the convent was built during April 2025.

Convento de la Faz Trunca

The first and biggest construction of the Keep excluding the main tower and walls was the Convento de la Faz Trunca. It was meant to be a palace, but it changed to a Charterhouse after some modifications within getplayerhead.sh?Ervoss&16.png Ervoss' lore. The name of the building is a reference of the Convento de la Faz Denegrida, an area in the Blasphemous video game.

The real translation of the convent (Convent of the Mutilated Face) is mainly a reference of getplayerhead.sh?Ervoss&16.png Ervoss' lore (detailing his penitence), referring on this in his book:

  • "Luego de sacudirme de la suciedad, sentí a través de mis dedillos la carne tarazada que tenía por faz, en tormento de haber rehuido del pasado; fuí sorprendido al inferir que había cumplido con dicha consigna, y determiné a olvidar los malos recuerdos, pensamientos y motivos por los que me encontraba tendido."

Hierarchy & Laws

Following the BSW incorporation laws, the Keep follows the applicable laws of the Black Starwalkers, and getplayerhead.sh?ZJTrayGamingYT&16.png ZJTrayGamingYT and the Generals have symbolic perms, however, getplayerhead.sh?Ervoss&16.png Ervoss still has control over the place, which means he's the highest rank inside the Keep, unless it's required to follow getplayerhead.sh?ZJTrayGamingYT&16.png ZJTrayGamingYT's orders. The Keep can get help outside BSW members, and it can accept people as long as they are not enemies of the BSW.
