PERPETUAL LOVE AND TOLERANCE!

A long term project consisting of 6 figures of the main cast of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, built into one statue group.

Planning

Using these pre-rigged 3D models of the Mane 6 by clementinaferreiro19 on Sketchfab they were posed in Blender, voxelized and converted to schematics via objtoschem.com.

The conversion of Lauren Faust's art style to 3D was a main point to fulfill successfully.

With world edit, features were applied and readjusted (eg. hooves and legs shortened slightly and overall creating a stockier silhouette) then painted.
As Twilight Sparkle's pose do not require open wings, that left Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy's wings that needed to be made separately from the model converted schematic so they were built around them.

Schematic was finished on the 14th of July, ending in a similar pose as the 3D model with the addition of open wings on Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash.

Materials

Concrete due to the brightness of the colours and lack of texture. Materials such as concrete powder were utilised to give a more faithful colour match for some parts.

The location scouted over two days, found on the 14/07.
