The construction history of this castle is lost to us now, but it stands as an example of how builds where done in the early days of Minecraft, dating as it does to sometime in 2012. It was 
SnapJaw who thought that the structure was interesting enough that it should have a wiki page, and that also means it is annotated on the live map.
