What is the point of this page..?

MCO will be using Java 21+ after the update. Currently, since Sponge 7 uses Java 8, there's not a reason to update it to Java 21+.

If this page is meant to get the attention of the MCO devs/admins, then its rather redundant as this will happen anyway. If this page is meant as a general guide to Java 21+, then this not relevant to the MCO wiki and should be removed.

Is this article actually redundant? Because Minecraft (at least) post-1.20 is not meant to run on Java 8 as it is no longer supported, and rather than it is for developers, it is a guide for players..? If this actually is irrelevant, I would suggest moving this to a subpage under the user page. And add Category:Guide. --reylah eve (talk) 06:01, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
