Mk59apr 00:12, 5 September 2016 (UTC) Sept 13: Back home, I did manage to make some progress on server from my hotel room in Vancouver. Buddha mountain has stone, dirt, grass/flowers, and snow. Layer 50 on Buddha statue now complete, looks like the statue will take another month or so.15:50, 24 September 2016 (UTC) Buddha statue all done! 22:54, 30 September 2016 (UTC) -Nov2016: Started larger dragon size build in single player, built a version of my skin in treetown, doing a lot of mining in the nether for netherrack to make netherbricks. 9nov2016: finished largest dragon in singleplayer, started building on server, started building the barn from my childhood farm in single player. 30nov2016: finished large dragon on server, started building my old barn on server, stirring up lots of memories with the old barn... I miss my cows sometimes. 27feb2017: lots of new players lately after "Mines" video was posted on youtube. Kudos to staff for having patience and understanding. and... finished echo valley barn, wheat field, combine harvestor, planted many trees around my builds, started building trees, including a large tree for treetown, built Omphalos for Excal(mk-excal) did a piece I called "the rings" at Jibtopia(Jibtopia), started a large dig beside the buddha statue and got it down about ten layers(thanks Excal for some awesome removal sessions) and started a public road south from the nearby nexus hub. 6March2017: got the roadbuilding bug and have now done around 4km of road in my region(map). I plan to build one more road, north from my nexus hub. 24Sept2017: hello again, time moves on! since my last entry I did build a road northward from my nexus, I note that it still needs some work. Also played a lot of BOTW(legend of zelda) which pretty much took me out of minecraft for a bit. I've returned to minecraft once again, digging my ravine down to Y35, started building the fish hotel at sicroto, giving some assistance to wulf at the mega tree farm, starting another large dragon, building a small grinder, smelting many stacks of cobble and netherakk, and just generally having a lot of fun playing mco. I feel for me there are looming questions around the future of mco which I can't find answers for... what are the plans to update the server and how will this affect the donations system? where can I find information about what admins may be planning in a general sense? I do check recent wiki changes from time to time but I've found no info on server direction or future plans. I feel this info could be helpful to the community if it exists. my sense of the community is that the core is actually quite small with many transient players. it could be that some communication from admins regarding what is being planned would help those who have been around playing and supporting the server. end of rant. beep. 26Nov2017: Purchased God rank, which will help with the digging at my base. Superpick is AWESOME but all the detail work still needs to be done with vanilla tools. Also I can now be friends with creepers, zombies etc which is very nice. At this time on the server we are having the "moon" invasion. 16Feb2020. I'm currently on a fairly long break from MCO, hope to be back soon. since 2017 there's been an extension started to dragon canyons, and I started another dragon build(with no dragons yet), which is going to be called "dragon circle" where I dream of building a flying circle of dragons someday. also I've finally done some builds at spawn, beneath spawn farm and built a bunch of large oak stickmen to the west of spawn, still plan to do some more of those someday.
