Brookend
Brookend is a town in Freedonia. As of July 2026 it has a population of only 1. It is otherwise notable for its farms providing all animals and crops, and its railway connection via neighboring Noobville.
Location
Brookend is located on the North-West quadrant of Freedonia, at the intersection of the Banner Branch of the Maid boat Route and the Noobville Boat Route. It is located approximately 700 blocks north of the North-West Nexus Borderlands hub (Purple) 1. The ocean to its North as well as the surrounding rivers form the natural boundaries of its territory. The town stands next to the immense Templum Temporis. It is connected via railway to the city of Noobville, and it may also be accessed via its Nether portal.
History
Brookend was founded in February 2023 by McAlkis_11. At the time it only consisted of his house, which is now the oldest building in the town. It was slowly expanded over a period of months with the addition of survival projects like farms and buildings like the lighthouse and port. Its remote location relative to everything else meant its population wouldn't increase. It has thus continued to be expanded on and off as a mere hobby.
Brookend received some increased attention after the founding of Noobville, only about 100 blocks west of it. On July 25 2026 the cities were officially connected via rail. Despite its lack of a real population Brookend welcomes all players of Freedonia.
Points of interest
- Brookend city center. At the base of the Runner statue can be found Brookend's Nether portal.
- Brookend's church. Built only because it looks cool.
- Brokend enchanting station. Enchanting table and brewing station open to all.
- Brookend port. Granting access to the Maid boat Route.
- Brookend's Sheep farm. A domed structure that provides wool of all colors.
- Brookend's nightclub. Contains a functioning noteblock music system.
- Brookend train station. Connects to Noobville and places beyond.
- Brookend's farms. Provide food to all who replant.
