With an interior inspired by the work of Étienne-Louis Boullée (especially the Metropolitan Cathedral and King's Library), the Templum Temporis (English: "Temple of Time") was designed and built by getplayerhead.sh?Microcosms&16.png Microcosms as an experiment in turning a facade "inside-out".

The name is related to Kronos, whose astrological symbol (of the Hamburg School of Astrology) features at the end of each hall. The symbol itself was chosen to loosely represent the predicted long time it would take to complete the build.

The interior is designed after the Monumental style, with two levels of columns supporting a coffered ceiling. Fire is used extensively to provide lighting in what should be an otherwise dark space (though this could not be achieved due to lighting bugs) - a theme repeated in the very center of the build, where a cylindrical platform holding a circle of netherrack torches rises above a square of black concrete.

The exterior remains raw, with evidence for block conservation in the form of gaps and missing walls. The only decoration visible from the exterior is in the doorways which are present at the end of each of the four long halls extending outwards from the domed central area.

Stone was obtained from the Iron Reef, as well as from a private stone generator fuelled by logs from the Iron Reef. Some of the gravel for the black concrete was obtained from getplayerhead.sh?abamacus&16.png abamacus' gravel farm near Emerald Mall.
