This 'chest' seems to kick anyone who opens it from below y=68. It is located in Snake's Mansion, snakyman's first house in Snaketown. One day snakyman put some wood in it and left. Later that day, he returned to open the chest, and it kicked him out. After a series of tests with other players, it was determined that anyone who opens it is kicked for some reason, unless it is opened from above y=68 (which is impossible to the public due to modification of the house, but it can be opened from inside the house). It was eventually figured out that it is a "quad chest," where the game seems to have merged FOUR chests together!
It was likely created accidentally by a new grief repairing tool that was being used at the time, after Snaketown had been griefed several times. Or it may have been created by the rollback of an individual chunk to place a double chest next to a new double chest, as each half of this quadruple chest is located on the other side of a chunk border.
Removal
After hearing about the chest, 
14mRh4X0r removed one of the offending chests on 2021-02-10 to prevent server crashes or chunk corruption from happening in future Minecraft versions.
