Freedonia Portal Co. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Freedonia Railway Co. It was founded to create the Nexus System. Although somewhat shadowy in operation, it presumably dealt with the operation and management of the portal network, guided by the government. As the Freedonia Railway Co. is now defunct, and its members gone, the duty of managing the portals is now solely with the staff.
