The Great Lakes and Kanal Town museum is a museum originally constructed as a player trap by SiOtter and 
Witchy1000 to catch 
Serrano07. In late 2018 after Serranos ban it was converted into a museum. When Kanal Town's nexus building was completed in 2020 its placement across from the museum made the museum a prime tourist attraction. In 2023 the museum and nexus buildings would combine into one structure. In November 2023 the building would also get a direct rail link with the Spawn Continental Railways Kanal Town subway line.
Information
The museum showcases and focuses on local history, this differentiates it from other museums that just show off event items and rare collectibles. So, if you want to learn about local history it's the place for you. Or, if you want to see event items you are in the wrong spot.
Exhibits
- First Floor - Artifacts of Kanal
The first floor is dedicated to the artifacts found throughout Kanal Town. There's plenty on display here from rare event items to sugar, all of these items have a story behind them. The floor is split into two sections, a new renovation and the original 2018 building. The middle of the room has a staircase that goes to the second floor.
- Second Floor - Drama of Kanal & Rare Items
The second floor has exhibits about drama within Kanal Town regarding griefs, disputes, and raids. It goes into great detail on the FPKA and the history of raids on Kanal Town.
The second floor extends into a separate building thats connected to the Nexus that has rare event items displayed. These event items have nothing to do with Kanal Town or the Great Lakes Province's history and are merely a small glimpse at SiOtter's private collection.
- Third Floor - Tourism & Town Growth
The third floor is dedicated to the tourism and growth of town. It has a large diorama in the centre and contains exhibits on key figures and failed expansions of town.
- Basement Level - Great Lakes Province exhibit & gift shop
One of the servers largest megamaps and exhibits based on the other towns within the region. There's also a large gift shop at the exit to the museum that connects to Oak Dock-B.
Museum Staff
Museum staff have perms to work inside of the museum, they can also access the Kanal Town archives and can modify the museum to make new exhibits and such.
