Museum Information

The Great Lakes and Kanal Town museum is a museum located in Kanal Town which focused exclusively on local history pertaining to the area. The building also serves as the cities nexus and functions as a good jumping off point for exploring the town and region.

• Entryway - Kanal Town 2017-2020

The founding of Kanal Town up until its eventual first decline during the pandemic.

• Second Floor - Towns of the Great Lakes Region

Exhibits regarding the towns of the local region.

• Second Room - Kanal Town 2020-2023

This room is dedicated to the history of Kanal Town from the covid-19 pandemic until 2023 - during its largest population boom.

• Great Lakes Megamap

The servers largest Map, 22x9 in size and covering over 2 million square meters.

• Kanal Town 2023-present

This exhibit covers the last 3 years of Kanal Town history up until the present day.

Building History

The Great Lakes and Kanal Town museum is a museum originally constructed as a player trap by  SiOtter and  Witchy1000 to catch  Serrano07, an alt of  Githis who was harassing town members at the time. Shortly after Serrano's ban in 2018, the building was turned into a museum with a heavy focus on the local area.

In 2020 the Kanal Town nexus opened across from the museum, with the goal of making the museum into a tourist attraction. Two years later the museum was expanded with a second floor and a backside. The same year the museum would be connected with the nexus for form a larger structure. In November 2023 the building would also get a direct rail link with the Spawn Continental Railways Kanal Town subway line.

As of 2026 the museum has been gutted and fully redone from the ground up. All floors and items removed, this massive remodel would have not been possible without the help of  Skittlekid,  ClonLP, and  Headmate.
