MCO Ban Speedrun

The MCO Ban Spreedrun is a running server joke in which a player attempts to get themselves banned from the server as fast as possible. While most players regard this as purely satirical, it has been attempted several times. Traditionally, this has been done by breaking rows of torches along one of the many roads connected to spawn lake, but as of today, this is no longer possible. While the player who achieved it is unknown, the current record is believed to be around 1 second.

Complications

• As MCO bans are permanent, this could only be attempted once, and not by an existing player.
• As of July 2021, Spawn has been protected to prevent modifications by unregistered players, increasing the time needed to complete this run signficantly.
• It is still possible to get banned for spam very quickly, making the 'legitamacy' of those runs questionable.
