History and Location
The Midgard Mead Hall is a nordic house found in the icy wastelands of the newly discovered lands. It is situated on a hill not far from a river the locals name Loki.
The house is mostly based upon the Vang stave church [1], which was originally built in Vang, Norway. The mead hall was initially planned as a longhouse but its design was changed in favor of the view due to the surrounding defence wall. The builder's desire to put up a mead hall awakened while he travelled across a distant country called Skyrim.
Huge parts of the wood used to construct the building had to be imported due to the scant vegetation.
The Inside
The building mainly consists of a big feasting hall providing room for dozens of guests. The throne is reserved for the Jarl who resides here now and then. A stair leads down to a kitchen, store rooms, living quarters and the bigger Jarl's rooms.
