Northern Outpost is a former warp, at the time the most Northern location of the explored world. Today it is actually in the west, owing to a change in the coordinate system.
It consists of a village across a bridge from a tall tower with a long spiral staircase, and a high jump into water.
The village is especially remarkable for its profusion of treehouses. Constructed at a time when trees were still relatively rare in Freedonia (shortly after tree growing became possible again), some of the trees in the village were guarded by fences in order to preserve them (see the image above). Note these are the original, small trees with little natural variation.
It is located west of Clubhouse, just off the road north-west from UnderWorld.
