Located on Point Novus, the Northshore Lighthouse has guided westbound travelers for generations.
History
It's not totally known when this lighthouse was constructed, but it was long before its parent Northport and the heavy metropolitan cities further inland past the Mawu Highway. The original family of Lightkeepers lived in what is now the town hall and simply traveled using the north boathouse. There is a famous generational tale of how the December fog would lead to many shipwrecks in Luna Bay in the olden days until one of those surviving crewman setup shop and vowed to keep the skies lit up with well-kept lanterns. The descendants of that lone captain still operate the lighthouse to this day, living with the rest of the settlers in Northport.
