One time, RebelCommander7 decided to build maparts of many pride flags. He was inspired by the pride flag banners designed by Anna_28 among others. Others, like LolitaFashion, had built pride flags before but Rebel intended to have a comprehensive set. The map arts uses slopes to show more vibrant and accurate colours.
Abamacus planned each flag's colours and location that the staircases fit within the 256 m height limit. Later, Ratrun contributed materials and helped build the flags. She built a few flags alone while Rebel was busy with study. Others, such as Annwynn1, also contributed materials.
Rebel and Ratrun eventually decided to build more maps than were originally planned. As the remaining cells of the original area were reserved for other purposes, they had to build them elsewhere.
