Flag and Heraldry

La Plata Flag

The flag of Sacra City of La Plata is deeply rooted in medieval Catholic military traditions, perfectly fitting the aesthetic of historical military orders such as the Knights Templar, the Order of Calatrava, or the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre. The design combines the Christian cross with elements of fortress and the Passion.

  • The Central Cross: A silver vertical cross moline (or anchored cross). In Catholic tradition, the anchors symbolize Christian hope.
  • The 4 Side Figures: Formed by small vertical posts with a small tab or stop, these represent stylized nails (often simplified this way in heraldry). In this specific banner style, they resemble crosses potent or crosslets, acting as symbols of stakes or a defensive fortress.
  • The Burgundy Background: In traditional heraldry, deep red or purple tones represent blood, valor, sacrifice, and the defense of faith to the ultimate consequences. This was highly common in crusader banners and medieval Catholic kingdoms.
  • The Silver/Grey Cross: Silver (or white) in heraldry symbolizes purity, transparency, truth, and integrity.

History

Sacra City of La Plata was born on the northern coast, situated near the North Nexus and in close proximity to EpicVille. The first explorers arrived through international routes from the south, following the Sprazz maritime boat route, and established themselves upon the foundation stone on the northern shores.

From that starting point, the entrance portal wall was erected. Driven by the need to expand, the founders utilized land reclamation techniques to build flat plateaus over the ocean. Upon these newly reclaimed lands, the grand San Francisco Cathedral was finally constructed facing the main square (Plaza Mayor). The cathedral honors the Catholic Christian faith and stands as a symbol of devotion to the sacred order.

On July 23, 2026, getplayerhead.sh?3c4e3a00-3e74-4f39-b836-2c9c7c4ec6ac&16.png DrJubblee, acting on behalf of El Reino Z, officially founded the settlement as Sacra City of La Plata. The name was chosen to honor the wealth of the region and the vast open spaces available for building, recognizing its immense potential for future growth and expansion.

This origin story is intrinsically tied to the city's heraldry. The creation of the burgundy flag bearing the silver cross moline (anchored cross) not only represents faith but also symbolizes the cunning and bravery of the founders in their continuous expansion, literally reclaiming land from the sea.

Transport

Sacra City of La Plata is highly accessible for both travelers and traders. The city can be easily reached via the North Nexus portal, which is located just a few kilometers away. From the portal, players can travel on foot by following the commercial pedestrian paths that lead directly to the city gates.

Initial City plan

Additionally, honoring its coastal origins and maritime expansion, the city is perfectly connected to the sea. Visitors can arrive by water navigating the Sprazz international boat routes, making it a very convenient and scenic destination for sailors and maritime explorers.

Districts & Notable Buildings

Currently, the city is organized into two main districts, separating its cultural heart from the residential zones.

Districts

  • Plaza Mayor District (Main Square District): The core of the city. This district concentrates everything related to culture, society, and information. It is the historical center of the settlement and the home of the San Francisco Cathedral.
  • Residential District I: The primary living and storage area. Here is where all the player plots (parcels) are located, alongside the city's warehouses.

Notable Buildings

  • Main Entrance Portal (Portal de Ingreso Mayor): The grand gateway into the city. This imposing structure welcomes all new residents and serves as the primary access point for those looking to build and settle within the city limits.
  • San Francisco Cathedral (Iglesia de San Francisco): The fundamental and foundational centerpiece of the entire city. Facing the Plaza Mayor, it stands as the ultimate symbol of the city's origins and its devotion.
