A great Castle of the North, situated on a high mountain peak and connected to New Haven and San Freedonia via the Frozen Road Network.
History
In the early days of Waterboy0048's time on the server, soon after the founding of Waterboy0048 Mining Co., he began to search for a place from which to fortify and grow his wealth. Searching the World's Map and where his own feet took him, he discovered a high hill almost to the world's ceiling (this being the days before it was increased and all).
Construction
Construction took place in two distinct phases, the Old Castle and the New Castle.
Old Castle
Situated on the highest peak, it was the first constructed and is much smaller than the later New Castle. It is made up of the Lord's Hall, three towers, and a central courtyard. Access to the Old Castle was originally granted by a stone ramp on the southern face. However this was rendered unusable following one of the many sieges which plagued the Sky Castle in its early years. The ramp leads up to the Lord's Hall, which originally was the primary banquet hall and reception area, though now it is more of a private setting for the Castle's residents due to its location and being superseded by the Great Hall in the New Castle. The three towers, the King's Tower, the Queen's Tower, and the Prince's Tower surround the small courtyard. All the towers and the hall are connected by a series of underground passages and chambers carved into the rock under the Old Castle.
New Castle
Following the last great siege of the Old Castle, it was decided that the threat was ended and a more luxurious area of the Castle was needed. Thus the New Castle was constructed on the hill below the Old Castle. Made up of the Great Hall, a gatehouse, two towers, two courtyards, and a pair of bridges, it is a formidable defensive structure in its own right. The Great Hall is easily the largest structure in the New Castle, possessing four great fireplaces. The Observation Tower on the North side of the New Castle is the highest point in the castle and can see for many chunks around. The Conquer's Tower on the South West corner of the castle is currently going a renovation and its fate is still undecided. There are two bridges which occupy the New Castle, Swinging Bridge which connects the New Castle with the Old though the Prince's Tower, and the drawbridge which passes between the New Castle and 
carysrune's home. The Gatehouse is the primary entrance to the Castle, through which one is led into the Great Hall. It is reached by the Great Stone Ramp which passes down from the heights to its connection on the Great Frozen Road Network.
