Socorro Cathedral is a cathedral under construction in Socorro. It was designed by F40CARZ, being made in a Gothic architectural style. It will be tallest church on the server, overtaking the (as of writing) 13-year-old St. Freedonia Cathedral, whilst being more than double its height.
History
The original idea behind a cathedral was created in May of 2025, when there was a need for monumental church architecture in Socorro. The building was designed through the month on F40's creative world. The tower, when completed, will be the second tallest building in Socorro and by far the tallest church on the server, overtaking St. Freedonia Cathedral (built in 2012). The foundations were completed on May 30th, 2025, and its cornerstone was laid in a ceremony on June 5th, 2025.
