You can craft Granite, Diorite and Andesite in vanilla minecraft using Diorite + Nether Quartz, Cobblestone + Nether Quartz and Diorite + Cobblestone, respectively. I don't know if you knew that.

Nobody would waste quartz to make those blocks, because they are easy to find in 1.12 terrain. We don't have 1.12 terrain currently, but we can at least have easy-to-obtain stone until we do. Hirudo6 (talk) 04:40, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
