The not rolled back area - players can be seen on the floor

"If you want to save our world, you must hurry. We don't know how much longer we can withstand the nothing."

On the 7th June 2011, 6 locations of the gameworld were rolled back because areas mysteriously disappeared.

"the world holes seem to have been created by an accident by an admin [...] one of the holes has a giant circular imprint on the sides. [later] It was VoxelSniper."

<chivalrousWeasel>

One area was missed in the rollback, and a void hole remained. An admin created a bedrock floor to prevent people dying in the void. Intrigued players coming to sight see quickly realized they could easily access rare minerals near the bottom of the hole, and arrived at the floor in great numbers. However, the hole was swiftly filled with smooth stone and dirt, causing a return to more conventional mining.

Rumours remain rife to this day as to whether this was a little accident, a natural cataclysm, or something more sinister.

A flat expanse of grass remains where the hole was, and can still be seen today at -4045 770.
