VL-099 is an unnamed NPC village that can be found in the southeast of the 1.12.2 land expansion, despite being located not far off from the 2011 spawn circle. A nearby megaproject has flattened much of the nearby terrain, but the village itself remains untouched to this day, with villagers still roaming & no players having laid claim to the settlement. In 2025, VL-099 would become the first documented village in the Historical Society's new Unnamed Villages Program, putting it on the map for the first time since it was generated. As always, visitors are encouraged to be respectful to the locals while making their way through villages.
