Main Information
This is a once naturally generated destert temple as of Minecraft version 1.12.2 that first was just claimed by DaAlex135 as novelty (by placing a few blocks and a sign onto it). This all happened in between 2021-2023.
Later on it was connected to a gravel path / highway that connects Alex' city BierTown and 
abamacus' attraction Zelda Map 2 to each other.
Also, in 2024 some additions such as a stairway down to the chest room and a few other places inside and outside of the temple as well as a few fences and windows were added, in order to make it look more habitated.
Naming
This building got it's name by the type of it's structure, a Desert Temple, and by a song named "Alec's Gone" by the British Punk Rock band The Toy Dolls.
Other fun facts
- Since this temple was naturally generated by the Minecraft map generator of the game version 1.12.2, this temple uses coloured teracotta instead of coloured wool as seen in game versions prior to release 1.8.
- A few teracotta blocks are missing inside as well as outisde since they were broken by Alex and never placed back. They got lost in one of his many unsorted chests in BierTown probably.
- The temple once was hidden mostly underneath sand and sand stone blocks before it was claimed and maintained by Alex.
- The temple sits next to a river, making it surrounded not only by sand but also by grass and water.
