Founded in Oct. 2021 by DaAlex135 after running as far into the eastern direction as he could, until he reached the border, where he then started building his fourth base, which
BierTown is a town located at the Eastern expansion of the map, with it's center being at just a few hundred blocks away from the border, also, at the moment, it is one of the easternmost settlements.
The name was more or less randomly given to it by it's German founder DaAlex135, while "Bier" is the German word for "Beer".
Right now, a highway system is being built right at the X-Axis, at which BierTown is connected to.
Rules
- Be friendly to other players in this town! Also keep an eye on the 3 main server rules!
- Town staff can modify others' buildings, if they are unfinished, inappropriate, the builder isn't active on the server or member of the town anymore, etc. Server staff can do that obviously, too!
- Only build on the plot you got permission for, otherwise it will be seen as grief. If you need to modify something outside of your plot (path, highway, etc.), please ask town staff before!
If you need some help on something or a rule isn't clear enough, please feel free to ask, before you might get in trouble.
Accessibility
- Nether link: You can use the official nether highways to travel to BierTown, for this go to the Eastern highway. It's the fastest way to come here. For faster travel speed, the highway is boat friendly.
- Boat route: There is a finished boat route, mostly marked with cyan or purple wool blocks, which you can reach from the pink boat route easily.
- Overworld Highway: There is an overworld highway, too, which you find right at the X-axis.

- Nearest warp: Mycelia (10k blocks distance)

Buildings
- Nether Portal room & Center: The center of this town is around a blue board containing the most important informations about BierTown, which you'll instantly face after going from the underground Netherportal room to the overworld. From this point, several paths and "higways" are there to connect the center to different kinds of structures and buildings, like DaAlex's Main Mountain and Air Island, the transformed village or
abamacus' "Zelda Map 2" project, which is built right next to BierTown. Built by DaAlex135. - The House Of Inspiration: A big house made out of blocks like bricks, oak logs & -planks, clean- & cobblestone. The overall style is mainly inspired by TTuge and the "Minecraft Classic" videos from the German YouTuber Debitor (2011-late 2013). Built by DaAlex135.
- Transformed Village: A once naturally generated desert village (1.12.2 terrain) has been upgraded and converted into the pre 1.4 version style, using gravel instead of path blocks and wood & cobblestone instead of sandstone. It also has a beacon nearby. Built by DaAlex135.
- Abamacus house: Unfinished structure, mostly out of nether quartz. Buitly by abamacus.
How get permissions to build?
First, there are some premarked plots, which are recognizable as being surrounded by smooth stone slabs with nothing build inside of it and no signs with any names on them. You can choose one of those and then ask town staff, if you can start building there. If no staff member is online at the moment, just place a sign on the plot asking so. You will then get informed by a mail on the server itself or via Discord (if possible).
If you choose to build on a free space outside of any plot, also ask staff if the place you have chosen is free to build on!
