The Town of Dexter was established on the 9th of June, 2024. It is located in the South-East Nexus Direction, in a hilly plain with many ponds. It also has a few parts of the taiga near the mainland. More info below.
Basic Information
Brief History
The Town of Dexter was established on the 9th of June, 2024 after user:BandicoottBoogie finished his base and wanted to build a town. He worked on his first structure which was a church. He then made the Community Center, which is where the Nexus will be in, as well as the permissions board and history board. Currently, he is making roads and terraforming the land, as well as adding small structures.
How do you get there?
The fastest method is by going to Nexus Borderlands Hub - Yellow 2, then following the path going into the oak forest behind the quartz shop.
How do you become a resident?
You can become a resident by sending mail using /mail to me if I am offline. I will remind you once you are online.
Permissions
While most land isn't terraformed, it is best to just build somewhere else since plenty of land will be terraformed in the future. Currently, only BandicoottBoogie is allowed to build in the town, but homeowners can do whatever they want to the interior of their house.
Plot Information
To make sure that building standards are met, houses will be pre-made. If you want to build your own house, send a schematic to me on discord (Sugond Easenuts) and I will let you build it if it is accepted.

6 June, 2024: BandicoottBoogie joins MinecraftOnline, starts looking for a place to build his base.
7 June, 2024: BandicoottBoogie starts building his base
9 June, 2024: BandicoottBoogie finishes his base, in the same day, he is reminded of the time where he wanted to build a town, so he wanted to fulfill that idea. It was considered the founding day of Dexter, which was named Dandydance at the time. 6/9/2024, nice.
11 June, 2024: BandicoottBoogie begins construction for the Community Center, which is the first structure built in the town
2 July, 2024: A school is built, and terraforming would commence in the southern area.
? July, 2024: 5 block wide roads are changed to become 4 blocks wide instead.
? July, 2024: Street lights are built on major roads with a 9 block radius.
14 July, 2024: The Community Center is completed, and terraforming is halted in southern area. It will be continued if required.
? July, 2024: A nether portal would be made in the Community Center.
22 July, 2024: Dandydance is renamed to Dexter, named after one of the banner patterns in the flag. The town would also get connected to a nearby road.
