The Enderwheel was built to serve several purposes:
- Enderman farm: to produce free Ender Pearls for any players who want them.
- Connection: the road from the Obsidian platform going east to the Enderwheel is the only road directly connected to the central island of the End.
- Cool build: the large wheel shape, color scheme, and the Enderman statue below the disc are for aesthetic (tourism) purposes.
Roads
The Enderwheel has 12 spokes connecting it to other locations. The four cardinal directions are for actual travel:
- West: leads directly to the Obsidian platform of the central island, the primary (non-lethal) exit from the End dimension.
- North: TBD.
- East: TBD.
- South: TBD.
If you would like to contribute to roads in the End, contact abamacus or your local FRS member!
The other 8 spokes lead to local attractions.
- West of North-West: Cactus Farm
- North of North-West: Elytra Course (under construction)
- North of North-East: TBD
- East of North-East: TBD
- East of South-East: TBD
- South of South-East: TBD
- South of South-West: TBD
- West of South-West: TBD
If you have ideas for these attractions, contact abamacus! Currently under consideration:
- Public Zoo: this would likely be divided into three segments, each with many enclosures:
- Nether Exhibit: look upon the creatures of the dark Nether Dimension!
- Overworld Exhibit: see the wild variety of aliens monsters from the Overworld Dimension!
- Villager Exhibit: look into the secret lives of the quiet village peoples!
- Netherwart Farm: similar to the Cactus Farm, but for Netherwart
- Overworld Farms: like a miniature "/warp farm", this would merely contain each type of crop for players wishing to make a new place in the End. Also a public well, from which to fetch water. (but BYO-Dirt, the end is famously infertile)
- Map Room: full map of the End dimension. (map scale TBD)
- Chorus Treehouse
