Hanamaru is a town that is being built by lightshatterz. It is located in southeastern Freedonia.
Geography
Hanamaru is located in a taiga biome, near the tripoint between the taiga, tundra and forest biomes. The nearest body of water from Hanamaru is Polgrian Sea.
History
After joining MinecraftOnline, lightshatterz began looking for a good spot and tried /wilderness but that only brought them to a taiga biome near the border. After noticing a pointer for Polgrian Sea and finding a spot that made for a good natural harbor, they began trekking towards the location that Hanamaru would eventually become from Republic City. The town was officially founded after the placement of a single light gray glazed terracotta block that lightshatterz got as an hourly gift on November 26, 2025, which was announced in the chat.
The name comes from Hanamaru Kinikida, a character from Love Live! Sunshine!!. The name was chosen by lightshatterz prior to their entry into MinecraftOnline should they ever play a survival server and chosen specifically express backwardness when lightshatterz came into survival servers compared to Minecart Rapid Transit.
Districts
Otonokizaka District
The first district of Hanamaru, it consists of House of Hanamaru.
Uranohoshi District
The next district that is planned, being north of Otonokizaka District on the flat land and serving as the harbor.
