Originally built because  LT3_ wanted to build something small but close to spawn so it would be something a lot of players would see. But very soon he got bored with building and just decided to make it a small shack with nothing in it. Then he had an idea. If it was so close to Spawn, a lot of players would probably pass it by while exploring. So he decided to place a sign inside the house saying: "Place a sign if you've been here". And sure enough, people started leaving their marks there.

• Anyone was allowed to place a sign saying they've been there, they did not need specific permission from  LT3_.
