Introduction

Ondingham is a town founded and created by getplayerhead.sh?ygarth&16.png ygarth. It is a relatively small town built with a medieval style.

Ways of getting to Ondingham

Nether

Ondingham is connected to the Nether Highway System, and its portal is located down the East Highway.

The entrance to the ice road that leads to Ondingham that goes off from the East Highway is located at "X:2211/Y:120/Z:3". The ice road also leads to the Cascadian Gateway.

Other Methods

As of today, Ondingham does not have any other methods of transport to get to it, other than walking and flying to the towns coordinates or, if you have the Obsidian Kit or above, you could send a teleport request to someone who is at Ondingham, for example getplayerhead.sh?ygarth&16.png ygarth, or use the command "/tpto ygarth Ondingham".

We hope to have more methods of travel, such as a Nexus and Boat Route in the future!

History

Foundation

On the 5th of April 2024, getplayerhead.sh?ygarth&16.png ygarth joined the server for the first time, and after using the /wilderness command, eventually arrived into a snowy biome, where they spotted a nice cliff near getplayerhead.sh?TunaBear&16.png TunaBear's Shiveria where they decided to put their base. It started with a single tower, and slowly turned into a building of which getplayerhead.sh?ygarth&16.png ygarth called home. Eventually, they decided to create more buildings, leading to the expansion and eventual creation of Ondingham.

Declaration of ownership

On the 23rd of April 2024, getplayerhead.sh?ravensea&16.png ravensea was given the fisherman's boat and the red and white stall in the town square after a tour of the town. To fend off moderators from banning getplayerhead.sh?ravensea&16.png ravensea, getplayerhead.sh?ygarth&16.png ygarth created "DECLARATION OF OWNERSHIP - ravensea", which contained information about the terms of the ownership of the 2 buildings.

Nether portal

On the 8th of May 2024, the Nether Portal for Ondingham was set up, and linked with the Nether Highway System, giving the town Nether access.

As of now, there is no further history about Ondingham

Rules

The following are rules set in place by getplayerhead.sh?ygarth&16.png ygarth for the use of any of the buildings and any of the residents in Ondingham.

  1. You must follow the rules of the server.
  2. You are allowed to decorate the interior of any building, however you must have permission to by getplayerhead.sh?ygarth&16.png ygarth or the owner of the building.
  3. If you would like to own or create building, you must ask getplayerhead.sh?ygarth&16.png ygarth or any individual with the power to appoint a "DECLARATION OF OWNERSHIP".
  4. Builds must stay in theme of the rest of Ondingham to create coherence with the other builds.
  5. Have fun and enjoy Ondingham!

Residents

As of now, the only person who resides in Ondingham is getplayerhead.sh?ygarth&16.png ygarth. However, getplayerhead.sh?ravensea&16.png ravensea owns a boat in the town.

DECLARATION OF OWNERSHIP

These are books that can be given or shown to Moderators or Admins to avoid bans. They indicate that you own the build and have been allowed to make changes to it. They should be displayed in an item frame so people can see it. Only getplayerhead.sh?ygarth&16.png ygarth or an individual with the power to appoint a "DECLARATION OF OWNERSHIP" are allowed to give them out. They also typically contain terms and conditions about the ownership of the building.

Alternatively, you may request for a sign instead of a book if you prefer.
