A settlement in the North East of Freedonia, Founded by getplayerhead.sh?NukaFanta0079&16.png NukaFanta0079 and getplayerhead.sh?sadpenguini&16.png sadpenguini

Can be travelled to by taking the Hub - North-East (Red) 1 Nexus and following it to the Borderlands Hub. You can then find signage on the main road out of the portal.

We are currently working on expansion, and connecting the city up to other areas of Freedonia. We have a road and are constructing a connection to the Railways.

History

The lands of Pathlakeshire were chosen early on in the MCO careers of the founders as their goal early on became set on establishing themselves in the server after a fruitful couple of first days of exploration. The history and splendour of the history-ladened landscape filled them with a purpose to further its history by following the footsteps of their predecessors. After scouring through the map to find suitable locations for a settlement they eventually settled on where they currently are on the map as it was isolated, yet connected enough that it would lend them enough leeway to build at a large scale without potentially encroaching neighbours.

Construction in Pathlakeshire began on the 26th of November 2025 with a canal-tunnel that connects the ocean to the central lake and a starter base dubbed ”Fort Genesis” on the day after on the 27th of November, both built by getplayerhead.sh?NukaFanta0079&16.png NukaFanta0079. Afterwards when the first home was built, the construction of the town began on top of the central lake with waterways over the common practice of solid paths. The Visitors Centre began construction on the 28th as well by getplayerhead.sh?sadpenguini&16.png sadpenguini starting the process of making Pathlakeshire more established than ever. Upon breaking ground for the Visitor Centre, a set of intact dinosaur bones were found and cleaned. These are now on display in the Centre. The Visitor Centre is also home to Penguin's Potions, a potion shop boasting the best prices in Freedonia for all your potion needs.

The Great Stone One

The Great Stone One was found in Pathlakeshire upon finding the land. It is unsure when or how this statue was built, however, people have been leaving flowers and vigils at its base since it was discovered. All stone is the original, as it was found.

Architecture

Pathlakeshires infrastructure has a priority in roadside, alongside canal access within its borders with an architectural ethos of aversion to overtly ”modern” building styles. Current hallmarks of Pathlakeshirean architectural style includes the usage of foliage; with a particular focus on using rose bushes in proximity to public spaces such as it’s roads, canals, nature and parks as it’s been summarily adopted as it’s national flower.

Geography

The local geography of Pathlakeshire is primarily defined by its large central lake and close-by rivers with diverted connections to aforementioned lake, hills, and mountains to its north. Many natural/ancient structures have been found around the surrounding area. These buildings are usually worshipped and are protected structures.
