Polaris was the first settlement created by the Black Starwalkers, and was their former headquarters. Started as a hidden bunker to conceal ZJTrayGamingYT whilst 
GunCat2 was hunting him after his return to MCO, it quickly became the underground headquarters for the newly blossoming Black Starwalkers, and served as a way for ZJTrayGamingYT to be able to actually play MCO instead of being hunted.
On August 6th, 2024, the coordinates to Polaris were given to or found by GunCat2, who proceeded to raid it. Following this, and the discovery of their group, the Black Starwalkers became officially known instead of a hidden group, and began their move to a new location about a week later. That new location ended up being what would later be called Nebulus.
Polaris was mainly named after the song Polaris by chiptune artist Fearofdark, but was also retrospectively named after the song Rust In Peace...Polaris! by thrash metal band Megadeth. The song's names, and therefore the bunker's name originates from the star named Polaris, which is the pole star in the sky.
Timeline
Pre-Raid
July 10th, 2024:
- sanixdrill begins the creation of Polaris by creating a redstone door embedded into a mountain, and creates a long ladder from the entrance of Polaris to the main area.
July 11th, 2024:
- ZJTrayGamingYT creates an underground tree farm and a storage system in Polaris.
- sanixdrill creates a three layer farm, of wheat, potatoes, and carrots.
July 17th, 2024:
- ZJTrayGamingYT creates an enchanting room and a super-smelter area in Polaris.
July 18th, 2024:
- sanixdrill and Ervoss create an underground pumpkin farm in Polaris.
July 31th, 2024:
- ZJTrayGamingYT creates a Goal Board in Polaris.
August 6th, 2024:
- Some time on August 14th, 2024, GunCat2 discovered Polaris, and proceeded to raid it. No Black Starwalker member was online, and when they came back they noticed what had occurred.
Post-Raid
August 14th, 2024:
- The Black Starwalkers move and found Nebulus.
- Following the Polaris raid, the official town flag of Polaris was officially created.
November 7th, 2024:
- dunechan and ZJTrayGamingYT restore the Nether Portal in Polaris.
