Portals
Nexus Portals are now established in many locations in Freedonia and are now the best alternative to the Warp System.
Railway System
The Freedonia Railway System offers service over most of the map, and is and easy and cheap way to see the many attractions and settlements of the server. But using it these days carries some risks. Some rail lines have been griefed and not repaired so it may happen that you are dumped out of your cart, get sent the wrong way going through a switch point, or even get trapped after falling through a hole in a floor into a mechanism. Do NOT break blocks to escape, just do a /home or /spawn command.
Server lag affects mine cart speed so much that walking may be quicker than a mine cart at times. Travelling just after a server restart is recommended.
Boat Routes
A number of destinations are accessible from the water by following marked Boat Routes.
Server lag affects boats also, causing them to sink into the void, taking you with them. Your only escape is a fast /home or /spawn command.

The comments about server lag are inaccurate and unhelpful, as are comments about grief. These are POV statements, and don't belong on an official page. The updates to Nexus are useful, as the Project Anubis pages are out of date. The boat routes and railways portions are fine as they are; additional detail can go in the relevant pages.Riot 09:10, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
- I take your meaning about POV being subjective but I would like to warn players about the problems of using boats ..
- I myself have fallen into the void every time i have tried to use a boat to move around on the ocean
- and I have been trapped in a switch mechanism that was exposed due to grief damage on the way to Saikyo one time before I found the Nexus. Would it be appropriate to put these warnings on the pages for Boat Routes and Freedonia Railway System respectively? or perhaps make a new "Advice for New Players" page? --bytebasher 18:03, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
- I think an advice page, appropriately tagged with the POV tag, would be a nice idea. You can also add relevant information to boat routes and railway system pages, but please keep all information objective and strictly factual. Riot 21:05, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
