This page should include a clause about punching items out of item frames and armor stands. Roostery (talk) 10:44, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
Apparently that (^) comment exist, so let me add onto it, since admins locked the rule pages (well, why wasn’t it locked before..?)
Many people argue that paintings, item frames and armour stands should not count towards grief because it is an item. I’d counter-argue this from the facts that:
  1. Those can be interacted,
  2. Those are logged by grief prevention plugins, and
  3. Those can be placed, but cannot move or be moved (by normal means , i.e., without commands).
Boats and minecarts can be placed, and can be moved by players, thus those are transportation items.
Pistons may move, but that is only when it is activated, and the piston core itself never move. Same can be said with shulker boxes. Its hitboxes may change, but the block location does not change by itself.
Sand, gravel, concrete powder and other blocks with gravity physics may fall or float when there is no block below, but floating ones are entities that cannot be destroyed with weapons. You would have to grief to drop such stacked blocks. Nonetheless, if there is a block below, those are still ‘’blocks’’. You can’t delete those with /kill @e.
Also, wouldn’t paintings, item frames and armour stands be in the tools sections or other tool tabs in the Creative Mode inventory by the argument’s logic, not in Decoration Blocks? Ultimately, the reason why the three items are blocks goes by the third reason of my counter-argument. But this is only my personal reasoning, not admins nor Riot.

Shulker boxes

I can't find anything about placing shulker boxes to access them in the 'What is not grief' section. If that is allowed, the admins should note that. --Ratrun (talk) 07:02, 18 February 2023 (UTC)

Seconding this, searching the Discord yielded only messages from mods saying this is allowed. Concrete clarification would be nice. --SketchyPixel (talk) 07:31, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
