An ancient god of incomprehensible power, the Orb of Dominance is believed by many historians to be older than time itself. First appearing canonically as the overarching enemy in both Minecraft Dungeons & Minecraft Legends, this deity has been sighted across Freedonia for years, presumably having come out of hiding for unknown purposes.
The Orb of Dominance is known to be a master manipulator, granting near-endless riches and power to those it claims to be in service to, all while secretly manipulating the owner to do its bidding. Ancient stories tell of how the Illager tribes had once united under a single banner to conquer the Overworld, their leader being nothing more than a puppet for the Orb. While some may have been wiser to the lies told to them by the Orb, all have eventually succumbed to its bidding.

Trivia
- The Orb of Dominance is canon to both Minecraft Dungeons & Minecraft Legends, spin-offs which in turn have been confirmed to be canon to vanilla Minecraft.
- The OrbOfDominance player name has only ever been claimed by two users, both coincidentally being MCO players.
- Due to MinecraftOnline being the only survival server the Orb has ever arrived in, the lands of Freedonia could very well be considered as Minecraft's 'prime universe' (the canon world in which Dungeons & Legends take place).
