The Tomb Raiding Drama describes the details of how getplayerhead.sh?Mango_podz&16.png Mango_podz was cheating while participating in Tomb Raiding.

Quick Backstory

In 2012 getplayerhead.sh?Machines_Are_Us&16.png Machines_Are_Us created a treasure hunt called Tomb Raiding. The concept was there were three hidden tombs hidden around MCO and inside each were locked chests with passwords that would need to be figured out through various hints on signs within the walls of the tomb (For an unknown reason the passwords on the chests and the signs with the hints were quietly removed by getplayerhead.sh?Machines_Are_Us&16.png Machines_Are_Us sometime before they were discovered).

A Tainted Hunt

A group of players assembled by getplayerhead.sh?JimyHendricks&16.png JimyHendricks vowed to find the treasure. The group was composed of getplayerhead.sh?_TheCrimsonKing_&16.png _TheCrimsonKing_, getplayerhead.sh?Mango_podz&16.png Mango_podz, getplayerhead.sh?HistoriaEloton&16.png HistoriaEloton, and getplayerhead.sh?ScarClaw72&16.png ScarClaw72. They explored various domes located throughout the map and eventually made their way to Statue Park. This is where things would take a turn for the worse. Here it would be discovered by the group that Mango_podz had been using freecam hacks to look through the underground portions of the map. Mango_podz guilted members of the group into not reporting him for violating MCO's Rules (which explicitly state hacking is disallowed and is a banable offense) by telling the group in a discord call how depressed he would feel if he was banned from the server. Members of the group repeatedly asked Mango_podz to stop hacking, but it was no use as he continued to freecam underground in various locations. Late one night getplayerhead.sh?Fraccu&16.png Fraccu and Mango_podz would decide to explore a few possible tomb locations together. Mango_podz would screenshare him using freecam hacks to Fraccu in a discord call, and Fraccu would take a screenshot of him hacking to later use as proof for when he would inevitably report him. Fate would catch up to Mango_podz as he would be subsequently be banned for hacking two days after the screenshot was taken.

The Beginning of the Controversy

While no one disputes that getplayerhead.sh?Mango_podz&16.png Mango_podz was in violation of MCO's Rules by using freecam, some of the more minor details of the incident still remain somewhat controversial. Before it was revealed that getplayerhead.sh?Fraccu&16.png Fraccu was the one who reported Mango_podz, Mango would begin to point fingers at various players the first of which being getplayerhead.sh?ScarClaw72&16.png ScarClaw72. Mango_podz immediately suspected ScarClaw72 due to his Moderator status, this claim as mentioned previously would prove to be false. When Mango_podz would find out that Fraccu was the one who reported him he would accuse him of being a manipulator who only pretended to be friends with him in order to get him banned so he could take all of the credit for finding the treasure. This simply was not the case as Fraccu had been friendly with Mango_podz for a long time preceding the hunt for the tombs.

The Video

On July 22, 2022 getplayerhead.sh?Mango_podz&16.png Mango_podz would release an unlisted video entitled "my last message to Minecraft Online". This video would outline the entire hunt and his ban from his perspective. In the video he would claim that the only reason he freecam'd was to aid getplayerhead.sh?JimyHendricks&16.png JimyHendricks in his hunt for the tombs. Mango_podz would apologize to getplayerhead.sh?ScarClaw72&16.png ScarClaw72 for a "sour message" he sent to him the night prior accusing him of reporting him. While this page might seem to be painting Mango_podz in a bad light that is not necessarily the intention behind the creation of this page.

JimyHendricks personally believes that his video was genuine, and that Mango_podz was a generally nice guy who just sometimes made rash decisions and this page being a list of many bad decisions he made within a relatively short period of time.

The Aftermath

This controversy sadly overshadows the true nature of what was supposed to be a fun treasure hunt for the community to solve together. This controversy being yet another stain on MCO's ever expanding history. For another perspective on the controversy read getplayerhead.sh?ScarClaw72&16.png ScarClaw72's editorial addressing the situation on his blog.
