Introduction
The Hispanic Union (HU) was an organization dedicated to protecting and uniting all Spanish-speaking players. It was annexed into the Holy Hispanic Empire in November 2025, following a discussion among its leading members.
History
Blacknightmon, then King of Tax Haven, with the help of other members from the Hispanic community of MCO (such as J4V2, Milanesa, and NadaCAT, among others), created a Discord server with the objective of assisting other Spanish-speaking players and working together to improve their settlements and projects. After a democratic election, they decided to establish the Hispanic Union to protect themselves from other players. To join the organization, one had to be part of the Discord server, applied for membership, and had their application reviewed by the President in consultation with other members of the alliance.
Rules
Presidency
The President of the Hispanic Union was elected through a democratic vote held on every November 9th. All members of the Union had the right to participate. The role of the President was primarily administrative; the true power resided in the will of the members. All important issues were discussed and voted on within the Discord server. The President had to have been an active and regular player. Any member of the Hispanic Union had the right to become a candidate with the exception of banned players from MCO and/or from the official Discord server.
Language
To become a member of the Hispanic Union, one had to be a Spanish speaker.
Settlements
If a settlement was to join the Union, its founder, President, or owner had to speak Spanish. Each case would be evaluated individually. Additionally, the settlement had to host a headquarters for the Union.
