The C42's were a two person group comprised of ZJTrayGamingYT, and GiovanniRug, which only really existed as a name behind ZJTrayGamingYT's MinecraftOnline YouTube series. The group was not a joinable group at all, but rather a personal association between two friends. It was originally named after ZJTrayGamingYT's original username, 
ZackC42.

podd. It's located on Islandia Island, the second, and main island in the Isles of Islandia.
Following the Battle of Islandia on December 28th to 29th, 2021, ZJTrayGamingYT took a hiatus from MinecraftOnline for five months. Following his return, and an argument with co-founder GiovanniRug about the Battle of Islandia, the two officially dissolved the C42's as a group / partnership, and moved on. ZJTrayGamingYT went on to found the Coefficiency.
For a short time, after 
The_epic_gamer_2 (formerly GiovanniRug) joined the Coefficiency, all of the C42's builds were again owned by the same group. Following it's dissolution, all builds remain, yet again, split between both ZJTrayGamingYT and The_epic_gamer_2.
History
Pre-founding, and Founding
The C42's were officially founded on March 23rd, 2020, with the creation of the C42's Guild Hall, but had existed since March 9th, 2020, following ZJTrayGamingYT joining MCO. Having been invited to the server by his then friend, GiovanniRug, the two only played with each other and when the other was available. This is the sole reason the group wasn't really a group at all in the conventional sense, but rather just two friends playing Minecraft together.
The C42's were named after ZJTrayGamingYT's original username, ZackC42, which itself is named after his very old username Crocy42, which predates his entrance into Minecraft in 2014. The two of them decided to work together, and the C42's were born. Despite being named after ZJTrayGamingYT, the two of them ran the group together.
ZJTrayGamingYT's Base, The Blood Arena, ZJTrayGamingYT Mountain, and the C42 Castle Keep predate the creation of the group, but they are counted under the list of builds made under it.
Following the C42's official creation after the C42's Guild Hall was constructed, most of their videos take place around this time.
Islandia Era
Following a hiatus that lasted a little over three months, ZJTrayGamingYT had returned to MCO in August of 2021 to find that he'd be moving. Earlier that month, GiovanniRug had went exploring, and discovered and claimed the Isles of Islandia for himself. Upon ZJTrayGamingYT travelling, and transporting all of their goods there, he proceeded to claim them for the group (instead of just for GiovanniRug), and helped contribute towards whatever was needed to be done there.
Some time since then, between late August and October of 2021, 
GunCat2 becomes a temporary member, and proceeds to construct Islandia Tower without permission from ZJTrayGamingYT, but with it from GiovanniRug. ZJTrayGamingYT was not told this, and it later leads to the Battle of Islandia.
On September 10th, 2021, ZJTrayGamingYT meets 
BigRobertson who lives in LittleRock, a new neighbor to the Isles of Islandia. They later trade an island for a stack of bones. Named later after this trade, this island would become known as Bone Island.
Sometime prior to October 15th, 2021, the Sand Continent is founded by GiovanniRug. Originally just an offshore desert to harvest sand from, it later achieved a purpose, tunnels. GiovanniRug had planned to acquire loads of sand from the Sand Continent in order to make it into concrete, which could then be used for a plan to connect all of the Isles of Islandia with underwater tunnels. The idea was scrapped within the next two months following the end of the group.
On October 25th, 2021, podd gifted three stacks of redstone to ZJTrayGamingYT. To honor this generosity, he made the Podd Gratitude Memorial.
The Battle of Islandia

On December 28th, 2021, an argument between ZJTrayGamingYT and GunCat2 over the validity and ownership rights of Islandia Tower occurred. In response to a claim made by ZJTrayGamingYT that Islandia Tower was made mostly by GiovanniRug, GunCat2 responded with hostility. This claim made by ZJTrayGamingYT was incorrect, as he had been given incorrect information by GiovanniRug.
The Battle of Islandia occurred shortly after, and forever altered ZJTrayGamingYT's time on MCO from then on, and the future of the C42's as a group.
ZJTrayGamingYT took a break from MCO for five months, unsure on how to continue following the slaughter that the Battle of Islandia was. When he decided to return on April 14th, 2022, he decided to not continue his MinecraftOnline YouTube series.
Post-C42's
The Coefficiency

Following a disagreement with GiovanniRug, because of him condoning the events of the Battle of Islandia, and Snowland's members taking everything they had, ZJTrayGamingYT officially dissolved the C42's, and went on to form the Coefficiency.
On April 24th, 2022, on the tenth day of the Coefficiency's existence, GiovanniRug joined them, relinquishing all of the C42's assets to the new group as well.
Post-Coefficiency

Following the Coefficiency's dissolution on October 5th, 2023, the connection between The_epic_gamer_2 and the group was up in the air, along with the claims of C42 builds. On May 14th, 2024, it was fully cleared up, as The_epic_gamer_2 fully separated himself from the group and wanted to not be associated with it anymore. The two went their separate ways, but the settlements of the C42's still remain split equally between both, although none of them want anything to do with these places anymore.
Following the creation of the Black Starwalkers on July 10th, 2024, nothing occurred that disrupted the claims of these builds. After The_epic_gamer_2 participated in a plot with other users to threaten to doxx ZJTrayGamingYT, which caused him to leave the server, relations between the two are not exactly well. Despite this, the claims of ownership still remain the same, split equally between the two.

Between March 28th, 2020, and March 9th, 2021 (almost a full year), GunCat2 was a member of the guild, despite never playing on the server at that point. When the C42's Guild Hall was being torn down, he was basically removed from the guild.
Between September 16th, 2021 (when he joined), and September 27th, 2021, GunCat2 was a temporary member of the C42's, before he later joined a group in the city of Snowland. During his time as a temporary member, he built Islandia Tower. He is now enemies with ZJTrayGamingYT, but he is good friends with GiovanniRug.

Between March 28th, 2020, and March 9th, 2021 (almost a full year), SaltyNoodles and _xHerox_ were a member of the guild, despite having never played on the server, up until today. The reason they weren't the guild in the first place was because, in it's original state, the guild list was basically a list of ZJTrayGamingYT's friends who also played Minecraft at that time, not on the server though. They were both removed from the guild when the C42's Guild Hall was torn down.
