Cnupdates' and TheMaxx's Spawn Base is as the title says a build owned by  TheMaxx and  cnupdates about 400 blocks from Spawn within the Spawn Walls. It was built by cnupdates for the purpose of having a cosy resort near spawn, as well as leaving a mark on the Freedonian landscape.

History

What sparked the idea of a spawn base was this plot, it was smaller and harder to build on due to it being on a hillside, but was tempting since it was only 100 blocks away from spawn. It was later revealed that Krenath had only terraformed that area to look natural, making it illegal to actually build there. Krenath later bonemealed the area and put down a sign saying it was terraformed to make this clear. He said to cnupdates about building a spawn base:

 < cnupdates> Now I need to find a new plot though…
 < krenath> Ideally, you'd look for a lot NOT in spawn.  I mean, in a 701x701 area, after 13 years, do you *really* think there are any blocks in that space NOT already hand-placed?
 < cnupdates> Yes I do think there are places not built on, you just have to keep an eye out
 < krenath> I can promise you there are not.  I have been here for much of that 13 years.  Just because something *looks* natural doesn't mean it's generated terrain that's free to dig into.
 < cnupdates> I'll have another look around just in case, but otherwise I'll try looking for a place outside the walls

10 days later he found this plot and checked it over with  Void42_ who confirmed it was ok to build there. Right after the confirmation the designing of the build began.

The Result

The construction took 6 days, and was finished on the 17th of February 2023. There’s 6 levels, including a basement and an attic. The mansion is 26 blocks from the ground to the rooftop. It has a full, decorated interior, no room is wasted.
