Greenville is a town founded by embolalia, located shortly east of ForbiddenOutpost. It features a number of buildings in a range of styles, though the most notable buildings are generally of mid-20th-century American styles.
History
Greenville was first settled by embolalia, who selected a small cave in which to huddle up at night. This would become the location of his new humble home. The cave is now long-since gone, some parts mined beyond recognition and others filled in for security, but the home is still in the same location. Shortly after rough completion of the home, the massive structure that would later be known as Greenville Tower was built. It stretched from the ground to the highest possible level, with a ladder reaching down to bedrock. In front of that was soon placed the Flag of Embolalia, which now dominates the shoreline.
Upon completing these planned structures, embolalia decided to build a small city. The first building to be started was Burke Tower, though the old Visitors' Center (now demolished) was completed first. Later came the new city hall, which would later take on the role of visitors' center when the old building was demolished.
On 7 June, 2011, during a period of inactivity from Embolalia, a portion of an outer fortification wall was lost to The Nothing.
Railway
Greenville is home to the Greenville Railroad, which currently connects the town with ForbiddenOutpost and the Northwest Nexus. The railway was built entirely by hand by embolalia with no materials, save for an iron-level donor level later in the construction, purchased with real-world money. It currently has only three stops, mentioned above. A second line is being built which will link Greenville to a yet-unnamed future settlement. Another planned line would run from the Northwest Nexus, through that settlement, to Amp City.
