An homage to Wassily Kandinsky's 1923 experiment at the Bauhaus design school in which the blank, 2D outlines of a triangle a circle and a square were distributed to participants who were asked to color in the shapes in whichever of the three primary colors (red, yellow, blue) they saw fit.

The goal was to discover a universal visual language, and he hypothesized that a red square, blue circle, and yellow triangle would be the dominate choices and the key foundation to said visual language. Somewhat surprisingly, the majority of responses turned out to match his hypothesis, and the idea inspired a number of other Bauhaus projects.

Although Kandinsky's experiment and the quest to uncover a universal visual language is often criticized due to its subjective nature and the change of culture over time, it does offer a compelling topic for discussion, which this build intends to perpetuate.

Rather than being a structure to house artifacts, the building itself is the museum. The building's exterior consists of a 2D Front Facade and a 3D aft section. The Interior consists of the first floor which is primarily inside of the triangle and the square and a second floor which is mostly inside of the circle.

The Front Facade is composed of an overlapping yellow triangle, a blue circle and a red square. As the shapes overlap, the primary colors blend into their respective secondary colors. At the point where all of the colors overlap is a singular brown block. There is also a door, flush with the facade which provides entrance to the interior.

In the Interior, the color blending continues along the building's Z-axis, until the edge of the overlap is reached. This allows for unique perspectives of the shapes and the colors that are not often seen in other mediums.

The exterior aft section is an extrusion of the front facade, with each shape being extended to a different length. This creates a view of the pure, primary colors of the shapes without any blending. The circle is extruded the least, the triangle the furthest, and the square is extruded enough to make a perfect cube.

The Museum is just south of Mount Pespla, at the edge of the Lake Callian Region. Mount Pespla can be accessed thru Purple (Northwest) 1 Nexus.
