The Elephant Room (named after the song Elephant by neo-psychedelia band Tame Impala) was one of the first spin-offs actually planned. Originally a small alcove, it was marked with a sign to be a potential meeting room area, as ZJTrayGamingYT had an interest in a meeting room that had a view of Nebulus Central, and the Hall of Souls.
It was officially started on November 5th, 2024, and was retroactively labelled as completed on November 23rd, 2024, as it was considered at 95% completed until June 16th, 2025. It is a huge area with views looking over the ravine part of Nebulus, with four distinct areas within it. They are:
- The Lounge Area
- The Meeting Room
- The Secondary Lounge
- and the Board Room
History
Pre-Raid
On August 14th, 2024, ZJTrayGamingYT marked an alcove he found, having an interest in a meeting room for the Black Starwalkers that overlooked their magnum opus, the city of Nebulus.
Post-Raid
Before, and for the first few months after the raid, nothing immediately was done with the alcove.
On October 27th, 2024, following a huge plan created by ZJTrayGamingYT of what to do following the then planned resurgence of the Black Starwalkers, the alcove officially got a name, and had been planned to extensive detail.
Following an actual plan being set in place for the Elephant Room, and ZJTrayGamingYT's return on November 5th, 2024,
Ervoss and
ZJTrayGamingYT worked together to visualize what they wanted the Elephant Room to look like. The original plan was to just create a meeting room, but
ZJTrayGamingYT improvised from his original outline, and made the area with the view a lounge for the Black Starwalkers, instead of the meeting room planned. Originally a section of the back wall of the Elephant Room that had a platform above,
ZJTrayGamingYT heavily changed it to be a stairwell to an excavated section that he decided would be the meeting room originally planned for the area. Most of the general floor plan was done by the early hours of November 6th, 2024, and
ZJTrayGamingYT created a table and chairs to use for the meeting room that had just been visualized.
Later that day, MrClownPierce worked with
Ervoss to make the Lounge Area look even better, and
ZJTrayGamingYT created a secondary lounge area with a view, making the Lounging area within the Elephant Room larger. After
MrClownPierce had to leave for the day,
Ervoss overhauled the meeting room, creating a better table and chairs, and making the walls look excellent.
Miscellaneous Final Touches, and Retroactive Completion
On November 7th, 2024, following an idea by ZJTrayGamingYT and
dunechan to make travel easier between Nebulus, Polaris, and Angel City via Nether highways,
ZJTrayGamingYT creates Nebulus' Nether Portal, and embeds it into the wall in the Secondary Lounge in the Elephant Room. For some reason the portal was deactivated when discovered by
MrClownPierce on November 9th, 2024, but was reactivated by a mod. How it was deactivated is unknown.
On November 23rd, 2024, Ervoss spent time expanding the Meeting Room's table, and creating a lit up ceiling. He also assisted
ZJTrayGamingYT in the creation of the Board Room in the Elephant Room.
On June 16th, 2025, ZJTrayGamingYT officially declares that The Elephant Room is completed retroactively, labeling it's completion date when it's last addition was, on November 23rd, 2025. This came after months of inactivity within the room, due to focus being redirected to the Library of Cryptic Writings.
