The Hall of Souls (named after the song The Hall of Souls off of the Quake Soundtrack by industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails) was the first off-shoot actually started on August 14th, 2024, prior to the Raid. It is also known as "the Hall." It was worked on side by side with Nebulus Central, and before either had a name, was considered to be a part of Nebulus Central.
It was officially started unnamed on August 14th, 2024, and was fully completed as of December 6th, 2024. The only work that will ever be done on it are individual rooms needing to be furnished for whenever new members join. It is a towering area carved into the side of the ravine, with seven floors total. Each floor contains two rectangular rooms, leaving enough space (when completed) for fourteen residents, each with their own customized, personalized rooms.
History
Pre-Raid
On August 14th, 2024, shortly after Ervoss arrived, him and sanixdrill began work on what would later be known as the Hall of Souls. The Ground Floor and the First Sub-Floor were originally created as residencies to match each floor of the main Nebulus Central bridge, and grew to be quite furnished.
Originally created to have four segmented rooms, the Ground Floor contained (from left to right):
- Ervoss' room
- sanixdrill's room
- MrClownPierce's room
- and ZJTrayGamingYT's room
pilonpl's was placed on the most left room on the First Sub Floor. Although each room contained only a colored bed, and were all barely furnished, they were still residencies for the Black Starwalkers.
Post-Raid
Following the raid, nothing immediately was done with the Hall of Souls, as following the Black Starwalkers' inactivity, Nebulus as a whole went inactive as well.
On October 23rd, 2024, dunechan shows up to Nebulus, and creates her room in the third space from the left, on the First Sub-Floor.
On October 27th, 2024, following a huge plan created by ZJTrayGamingYT of what to do following the then planned resurgence of the Black Starwalkers, the residential area of Nebulus officially got it's name, and the five floor plan was created for what it would be in the future. It was also decided that each floor would house two rooms, combining two of the existing rooms to the other two existing rooms on each floor, allowing more space per person to work with.
Five Floor Construction
Following an actual plan being set in place for the Hall of Souls, the next work on it started on November 1st, 2024. sanixdrill began copying the layout of each floor and using it for each subsequent floor created. He created the floor plan for rest of the floors that had yet to be done (the Third Floor, the Second Floor, the First Floor, the Second Sub-Floor, and the Third Sub-Floor).
On November 6th, 2024, Ervoss and ZJTrayGamingYT worked together to mandate each floor having two dedicated rooms. sanixdrill helped by moving where his room would be to a different floor, and ZJTrayGamingYT furnished the inside of his room.
On November 8th, 2024, MrClownPierce and ZJTrayGamingYT worked to add railings to every floor, light up every floor, and add design choices that make every floor look the same, minus each individual furnished room. It greatly improved the look of the Hall of Souls, and inched it extremely close to completion.
On November 10th, 2024, koszarka furnishes his room after joining the Black Starwalkers.
On November 13th, 2024, Ervoss tackled handling the paths for each floor, and re-did each floor to have better pathing. After this, the Hall of Souls is considered fully completed architecturally.
Post-Five Floor Construction
On November 19th, 2024, curseall created his room on the Second Sub-Floor. After becoming what appeared to be a schizophrenic, and him leaving MCO for the day, he was removed from the Black Starwalkers, and his room was removed. It was replaced to be a normal, vacant residency. On November 20th, 2024, upon returning to find his room vacant, he decided to dig a tunnel near the ladder on the left of the Second Sub-Floor.
On November 23rd, 2024, kubixolus came to Nebulus after a week of being a member of the Black Starwalkers. Upon seeing a German flag flying on one of the exterior walls of MrClownPierce's room, he made it his mission to make his room solely based off of his country, Poland. His entire room was covered with Polish banners, a window with the Polish colors, and the interior was built using the Polish colors of wool. He also put up a Polish nationalist song using signs in his room. After asking ZJTrayGamingYT to merge his room with his friend koszarka's, he was allowed to merge the rooms together. The entire Second Floor became one room, with two distinct separate areas.
Upon joining the Black Starwalkers later that day, Ghost6000 furnishes his room by creating a checkerboard / chessboard pattern involving endstone and dark oak wood.
On November 25th, 2024, MrClownPierce hollows out a part of the wall on each floor of the Hall of Souls, laying out an area for a planned elevator. It was filled in a few days later.
Upon joining the Black Starwalkers on November 27th, 2024, retrorandom furnishes the room that used to be curseall's, furnishing it with a design inspired by the missing texture from the Source Engine.
Upon joining the Black Starwalkers on November 28th, 2024, commmonnn furnishes his room, and following Marwan's joining the next day, he too furnished his room.
On November 30th, 2024, pilonpl's "room" was changed to be the new member windymango101's room, due to pilonpl not being active anymore, and having done nothing with his claim. windymango101's room was furnished under a jungle theme.
After being kicked out of the Black Starwalkers on December 4th, 2024, Marwan's room was replaced with a vacant room.
On December 6th, 2024, MrClownPierce finishes the Third Floor of the Hall of Souls.
On December 13th, 2024, after joining the Black Starwalkers, J4V2 furnishes his room where Marwan's used to be. After his attempted insurrection, the room was torn down the same day.
On December 15th, 2024, after joining the Black Starwalkers, Psychovis starts working on her room on the Third Floor.
On December 16th, 2024, after joining the Black Starwalkers, XeonProductions starts his room where J4V2's and Marwan's used to be.
On December 16th, 2024, after joining the Black Starwalkers, PhantomPharos starts working on his room on the Third Floor, and Psychovis continues work on hers. Between December 16th, 2024, and December 17th, 2024, XeonProductions, PhantomPharos, and Psychovis finish their rooms.
