Neo Rainekozia is a monumental ocean reclamation project and settlement located in the eastern waters near El Reino Z and Rainekozia Legacy. Founded in early 2024 by getplayerhead.sh?Rainekoz&16.png Rainekoz with architectural support from getplayerhead.sh?HOVI98&16.png HOVI98, the complex is centered around a colossal glass pyramid built directly in the ocean, famous for its massive stained-glass ceiling, its unique technical drainage method, and two sky-limit guardian statues.

History

Beginnings and Ocean Terraforming (Early 2024)

The project was conceived in early 2024 as an ambitious marine terraforming endeavor. The initial plan called for sealing off an enormous perimeter of the ocean with a glass pyramid dome, draining the millions of source blocks inside, and developing a thriving subterranean biome beneath sea level.

However, clearing such an astronomical volume of water proved to be a formidable challenge in survival mode. Initial attempts using sponges were quickly deemed ineffective due to the sheer depth and area of the ocean plot.

The Flying Machine Incident

Seeking an automated solution, getplayerhead.sh?Rainekoz&16.png Rainekoz designed a water-sweeping system powered by slime and piston flying machines. Alongside getplayerhead.sh?HOVI98&16.png HOVI98, around one hundred automated flying machines were built across the top of the ocean perimeter.

Once activated simultaneously, the sudden surge in redstone updates and entity calculations caused server-wide TPS to plummet. Alarmed by the lag spike, several players and server moderators (including getplayerhead.sh?Kendon&16.png Kendon and getplayerhead.sh?EpicBaby&16.png EpicBaby) quickly arrived at the scene. Joking in global chat that "terrorists had hit Freedonia", moderators ordered the machines shut down. To neutralize the runaway contraptions and prevent further performance degradation, the surface water was frozen into ice, halting the machines in their tracks.

The CraftBook Solution: MCX207 Advanced Bridge

Following the incident, experienced server veteran getplayerhead.sh?abamacus&16.png abamacus stepped in to mentor Rainekoz on server-approved mechanics, introducing him to CraftBook and specifically the MCX207 Advanced Bridge mechanism.

The MCX207 IC allows a sign to deploy and retract a horizontal plane of solid blocks up to a maximum size of 11×30 blocks, drawing and returning the materials to an adjacent chest via redstone signals. However, simply deploying and retracting a bridge in an open ocean would cause surrounding water to immediately refill the space. To prevent infinite water regeneration, Rainekoz devised a methodical, cell-based drainage technique:

  1. Containment grid: Sand/dirt partition walls were constructed to divide the interior of the pyramid into isolated rectangular trenches.
  2. Layer displacement: An MCX207 bridge was configured for each trench and triggered layer-by-layer, physically replacing water source blocks with solid blocks.
  3. Safe retraction: Because the trench walls prevented adjacent water from rushing back in, the bridge could be safely retracted into the chest, leaving an air pocket behind.

Repeating this procedure level-by-level across the entire pyramid footprint was an exhausting endeavor, requiring approximately three months of continuous daily work to reach the ocean bed.

Sourcing Materials and The Stained-Glass Ceiling

During the grueling months of clearing water, getplayerhead.sh?Rainekoz&16.png Rainekoz envisioned a grand artistic centerpiece: transforming the pyramid's flat upper roof into a monumental stained-glass pixel art of streamers and siblings Raineko and Raineka. The design was conceived so that with shader packs supporting colored light transmission, sunlight casts the colorful portrait directly onto the floor of the structure below.

Executing this artwork required substantial logistical planning:

  • Glass Supply: Rather than smelting sand manually, the immense volume of glass blocks was primarily sourced from the industrial glass farms in Newport.
  • The 1.12.2 Dye Challenge: While common dyes were produced using various dye farms, blue and cyan shades presented significant difficulty. Because MinecraftOnline runs on version 1.12.2 (where independent blue dye from cornflowers does not exist), all blue stained glass required pure lapis lazuli. Substantial mining and trading were required to gather enough lapis lazuli to color the hair and clothing of both figures.

Architecture & Features

  • The Glass Pyramid: An enormous oceanic structure encasing thousands of square blocks of reclaimed seabed.
  • Projective Stained-Glass Art: A massive glass canvas forming the upper layer of the pyramid, projecting a vivid color shadow of Raineko and Raineka onto the bottom of the structure under clear skies and compatible shaders.
  • Colossal Guardian Statues: Standing directly in the sea adjacent to the pyramid are two gargantuan skin statues of Rainekoz and Rainekaz. These figures stretch from sea level (Y: 62) all the way to world build height (Y: 255), keeping watch over the oceanic territory.
  • Deep Interior: The interior excavation extends far past the natural seabed, reaching down to near-bedrock levels (Y: 5). It currently houses a sunken central arena/monument, tiered stadium-like seating along the walls, paved roads, and several beacons.

Current Status

As of 2024, the structural framework, perimeter drainage, roof artwork, and external statues are complete. Interior terraforming, landscaping, and infrastructure developments are actively ongoing under the leadership of getplayerhead.sh?Rainekoz&16.png Rainekoz.
