Newport Museum Perms System
As the largest operating museum of MinecraftOnline for several years, the Newport Museum contains hundreds of priceless artifacts, including many 1:1 items not found anywhere else across the world. As such, the museum premises are high security for both patron and staff to ensure the collection may be enjoyed by the general community for decades to come. While standard no-griefing rules obviously apply on site (That includes armor stands & item frames), those with Nope Zone permissions are held to additional rules as states on *multiple* signs throughout the museum campus, in addition to a written book contract that many with perms have signed.
Rules:
- *NOBODY* is to leave the museum campus with artifacts of any nature belonging to or loaned to the collection. This includes (But may not be limited to) Newport Museum Staff, FHS Staff, volunteers, and Newport Staff (Despite Snakyman claiming otherwise).
- Do not hide artifacts on-site as an attempt to cause damage while circumnavigating this rule.
- Entities may not be harmed or otherwise removed from display without a plan to relocate their display or move them to storage.
- The lead curator ( NightSteak9 as of 2024) has final say on all display re-arrangement/removal matters.
These 'house rules' have been upheld by MCO Staff in the past due to these conditions being posted alongside the ingame perms sign. As of summer 2024, four players have been banned for attempting to disrupt museum activities through these means.
