Ravenscrest Village is an NPC village discovered by Zen_Fighter and improved and fortified by CaptianNugget.
History
While roaming the wilds of the newly opened lands with his donor commands, CaptianNugget, lord of Ravenshome, came across an NPC village. He was devestated by what he saw. The poor villagers where living in tiny, dirt-floored shacks, many without doors. At night the lighting was so poor that the village was overwhelmed by monsters. Taking pity on the poor creatures and their plight, CaptianNugget decided to claim the village as part of domain and immediately set about to improving it.
He began by improving the infrastructure of the village by repaving the roads with stone slabs, lighting every house, putting doors on all the houses. Then he set about rebuilding the houses to be much more suitable for villagers and their families, large and furnished. After completing the renovations of 2 houses, he began the construction of the Raven's Head Inn. The Inn boasts 25 guest rooms, a foyer, eating area, commons on each floor, and a garden with a public bath.
He had completed the main structure of the Inn and was about to furnish it when Disaster Struck. In a single night, some nefarious evil magic, AKA major lag, allowed the zombie hordes to decimate the poor citizens of Ravenscrest. After that night, a lone villager remained of the population, a totally unsuitable number for raising the population. The villager appealed to CaptianNugget as his lord for protection. CaptianNugget responded with the construction of the walls which now guard the city. The walls encompass the entire village and are complete with a gate system that automatically closes at night to prevent further massacres. This system was made possible through the help of the great mod Anna_28, who began to teach Lord Nugget the mysterious ways of redstone and craftbook. With the walls complete and the village lit the Divine Creator, SlowRiot, granted mercy on the village and revived its dead populace.
CaptianNugget continued the expansion of this village through 2014 until his departure from the server in 2015
