The Rubik's Cube is a form of mechanical puzzle devised by a Hungarian professor of architecture named Ernő Rubik in the year 1974. It is also an upcoming megaproject currently in the conceptual phase on MinecraftOnline. More information will be forthcoming.
Details
Construction
The materials for this project will be gathered completely by hand. As this would be quite a feat to be performed solely by our moderation team, we are turning to the community for help for both constructing the cube itself as well as gathering materials for the structure.
Function
Unlike some other Rubik's cubes created on Minecraft, this will be a fully-functioning device that can be solved like an actual Rubik's cube. Other people have made fully functional Rubik's cubes but with command blocks and mods but this one will be entirely vanilla and survival.
Design
It is unknown at this time exactly what materials will be used to construct the cube.
Placing a unique design on each side of the cube has been proposed.
