Basic Information
Sergei Fortress is located in the Northwestern Nexus area. It is near Burgeon City and is considered part of the Lake Callian region. It is a solo base created by JimyHendricks in late March of 2022 after his two month hiatus from the server. It is currently under construction and has no buildings as of yet.
How to Visit and/or Contribute
The fastest way to get there is to head to Las Vereno by using the Nexus North-west Purple 1. Then head through Lake Callian via the pathway through Las Vereno and then through Burgeon City. Once going through Burgeon's Dowtown District you will follow a pathway that leads right past AdoreKitten's tree farm and the path will go right past the Fortress and its high arches. If you would like to contribute to the build please contact JimyHendricks through MCO chat or Discord.
The "Lore"
Sergei Bayus was a Lithuanian noble who lived in the (Now Defunct) Latvian District of Liepajas sitauted in the Southwestern corner of the country. The small Fortress "Ramintas Fortress" (or "Ramintas tvirtovė" in Lithuanian) ruled by his father (The fort's namesake) Ramintas. Fort Ramintas was the subject of an uprising of Lithuanians who supported Latvian independence. Sergei would fight on the side of the Latvians due to a fierce disliking of his father. A brutal civil war spanning multiple months would wipe out over half of the area's population. Sergei and Ramintas would go face to face in a bloody battle at the end of the war. Sergei would kill his father in the battle and the Latvians would successfully win the war. Sergei would mysteriously die soon after taking the throne as the Duke of Nida. This major tragedy was believed to have been due the death of his father resulting in his spirit cursing the region. Legends say his spirit caused his son to die in order to stunt the growth of a newly independent Latvia. After these events the Fortress would be named in honor of Sergei.
